I love warpfire throwers, despite their tendency to blow up. And, scream, run, and blow my other Skaven up.
But aside from that, I love them.

This is my first attempt applying my own shadows and highlights, totally avoiding quickshader. Not that I have anything certain against CS, but I still haven't forgiven it entirely for messing up my rattling gun.
The result; well, I'm quite happy : )

nice work! tell me what coulers did you use for the green hood and did you drybrush or just highlight it?

Oooh, it's so long ago I painted this one that I frankly can't remember exactly. The brown cloth is drybrushed for sure, but I'm pretty certain I painted the hood in layers.

If I did it the usual way I suppose it would be something like:
Chaos Black+Dark Angels Green (2:1)
Chaos Black+Dark Angels Green (1:1)
Dark Angels Green
Snot Green
Goblin Green
(You can mix the last three paints as you do with Chaos Black and Dark Angels, for a smoother transition)

Highlighting more and more for each. It also looks like I've applied green wash to it, which you could likely do if you find it too green and bright. I like the shade Gretchin Green gives, so really, play around with those colors and you can't go all wrong : )
